The Beauty of Nature and Humane Ugliness

This green earth is the only planet in the universe found yet where there are millions of different types of living creatures live. This is a blessing and mercy of nature that we human beings have an existence on the earth. Nature is a basis as well as life-force of all living beings on the earth. This earth is a mother who is full of filial love and affection. The lives of all the creatures of this earth have flowered by the love and blessing of nature.

The complete form of sea, oceans, rivers, fountains, forests, water, sunlight, living and non - living things in nature. Nature is the source of creativity and arts and the inspiring factor of music and literature. Nature is life. Nature is love and affection. Nature has beautified the lives of all micro and macro living creatures. This earth and this nature are loving, beautiful, patient, and tolerant. Life is not real life in the absence of nature's love rays.

Our forefathers had understood the beauty and essence of nature in humans and in the life of all living creatures; who were the worshiper of the earth and nature. They used to worship rivers, hills, mountains, stones, animals, and so on. They had sincere and holy reverence toward nature; toward the earth: the mother. They had moral feelings for nature and this feeling had inspired them to worship, love, and conserve the earth. They used to personify the non - living things too, and so that they could see life in all non-living things too. They used to see gods and goddesses in everything on the earth.

Naturally, there are two kinds of instincts in human beings: Creative or love instinct and destructive or death instinct. Creative or love force do creative things and tries to seek beauty and bliss through creativity and love. Our forefathers were full of this love force. They had respect for nature. Peace, beauty, love, kindness, understanding, mercy was prevalent in our ancestors. So that, the earth and nature were in fine balance.

But its opposite, we human beings of the 21st century; who believe in cause and effect theory are full of destructive or death instinct. We don't know what is to conserve and what is to save and don't know the sense of beauty that emanates from the creativity or love force.

We feel beauty and joy in destruction. We feel bliss in the killing. We love destruction than protection. Such trend is widespread much in environmental the sector like in other social sectors.

The green earth or nature is being destroyed day by day due to the increment in world population, cutting down of the trees and forests for the cultivating lands, constructions of high ways, the electricity dams, urbanization and industrialization etc. 

On one hand, the destruction of nature has been increasing rapidly, and on the other hand, the emission of Greenhouse gases is increasing as a result. We have lost the natural balance and its beauty too. These fatal dooms have attacked nature from everywhere so that nature is losing its balance, patience and tolerance. As a result, human beings and other natural living beings have to face so many complex problems like flood, starvation, downpour, increasing the sea level, tsunami, cyclone, and other natural disaster the like.

Developing and underdeveloped countries like Nepal have been victims of global warming and climate change. The so-called social volunteers of societies who actually are the selfish giant take the rules and laws in hand and cut down the trees and kill the rare animals and birds. 

For material prosperity and pleasure, some of the scares of humanity have totally been plunged into the act of deforestation and natural degradation. Politicians and administrative officials as well as the members of Community Forest Committees have found joined in the act of deforestation. The simple and straightforward general members of such Community Forests have been tricked and had fulfilled themselves.

The contractors give them money and they also do not speak against those vampires of the society. They only have to earn money, only money. They do anything for money. These are murderers and sinister. We should hate and alienate them from society.

These social cancers must be kicked out of our mass and all should split on their face. The rules and laws must be implemented strictly and no one could be free from the law. If actions are not taken on time, the forests of the world will be found to have disappeared. The sincere social volunteer or the lovers of nature should be rewarded.

We should follow the footprints of our ancestors or the sages who used to worship nature personifying it as God and Goddess. We should worship the rivers, mountains, hills, animals, trees, and such natural entities. We should respect and keep holy reverence towards nature. The welfare of human beings and others creatures or say the whole earth depends on conserving nature. Otherwise, the picture of the future is pessimistic.
